Allentown, Pa.

Nestled in the Lehigh Valley, one hour outside Philadelphia and one and one half hours from New York City,
Allentown has enjoyed a rebirth in terms of popularity as well as culture. Preferring its "suburban" life,
many have opted to make Allentown their home and take advantage of its convenient location to commute every
day to the New York and Philadelphia markets.
Offering both rural and urban living, you can travel from historic downtown Allentown, where the Liberty Bell
was hidden during the Revolutionary War, to cornfields on sprawling farmland in just 15 minutes time.
Local attractions include Dorney Park home to two Top 10 roller coasters; Pocono Raceway one of
NASCAR's most competative raceways; museums, outdoor festivals (including Musikfest in neighboring Bethlehem,
Pa. the largest music festival in North America); and the yearly Allentown Fair which draws thousands
from Northeast Pennsylvania.

Carrollton, Ga.

With the heart of the south Atlanta only an hour away, Carrollton, Georgia offers small-town
living with easy access to the southern hotbed of fun and excitement. Despite its smaller size, however,
Carrollton is still a major business center in the western Georgia area and home to the State University of
West Georgia. Its unique university setting and blend of small-town charm makes it one of the most popular
communities in the state.
Carrollton is a regional shopping destination featuring everything from modern malls to attractive,
old-fashioned downtown shopping districts. In addition, there are many recreational opportunities including
parks, tennis courts, movie theaters, skating rinks, horseback riding trails, public and private golf courses,
water skiing on downtown Lake Carroll and swimming beaches. Long, warm summers and short, mild winters are
enjoyed by Carrollton residents. The average temperature for the year is a cool and comfortable 62.2 degrees,
making Carrollton western Georgia's playground!
With a superb, four-season climate, cultural as well as sports events seem to be occurring every
weekend. Many local festivals are held celebrating each season; a wealth of events centered around art, dance
and theatre play a vital role in the life of the community year-round; and nearby Atlanta offers pro sports
action including the Hawks, the Falcons, the Braves, and the Thrash.

Texarkana, Ark.

Texarkana, located on the border of Texas and Arkansas, is composed of two cities with the same name. They are
connected by the state line, which runs through the center of downtown Texarkana. Its very unique location
places you 144 miles from Little Rock, Arkansas; approximately 75 miles north of Shreveport, Louisiana; and
approximately 200 miles east of Dallas/Ft.Worth, Texas.
Texarkana's motto is "Twice As Nice," which appropriately conveys the political structure of the area. There
are two of most everything: two city mayors, two city governments, two police departments, and two fire
departments. This abundance also carries over to the Texarkana, Arkansas' recreational activities as noted by
the many fairs, bluegrass festivals, rodeos, historic sites, surrounding lakes, and neighboring golf courses. A
temperate climate allows you to enjoy all of these events year round.
The city also boasts good public and private schools and several large manufacturing facilities which
contribute to a strong, healthy economic base.

Lewisport, Ky.

Sitting on the banks on the Ohio River in north central Kentucky, Lewisport is conveniently close to all that
the bluegrass state and northern neighbor Indiana have to offer. Louisville, a little more than an hour away,
is home to Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby. It's also where the Lousville Slugger Bat company has its
headquarters and offers fun tours of its facility. A little farther east is historic Lexington home to
college basketball powerhouse, the Kentucky Wildcats which still retains its colonial-era flavor amid
its urban landscape.
Lewisport residents never have to travel far to enjoy the beauty of nature. Horse farms and sprawling green
pastures form the landscape of the Kentucky countryside. And just an hour's drive south is one of nature's
greatest marvels Mammoth Cave National Park, the world's longest cave. Nearly 400 miles of underground
passages await cave dwellers, while above ground the rugged, forested terrain surrounding the Green River is
perfect for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding.
