Round, Concentric Rolls
It might seem strange that we're bragging about round rolls. Aren't all rolls round and concentric? They may look that way, but the roll profiles tell a different story: most roll grinding services actually don't produce round, concentric rolls. PRG does.
The difference a round roll makes on your line is profound. Like a car driven on an oddly shaped tire, a line run on an imperfect roll is bound to have performance problems. It may not run as fast, and could have trouble producing a consistent product for your clients. Eventually, it will need unexpected maintenance, or even a shutdown for removal.
The bottom line: a round roll shape always improves the performance of your line, and that's what PRG gives you.

Over time, barring created a wear pattern, leaving an impression on the finished sheets. At one point, the mill had to change chilled iron rolls every six weeks. The resulting downtime greatly affected productivity.
