To achieve a rough or matte finish on your roll when you utilize PRG's matte blasting technique, a grit or
abrasive blasting is performed with special equipment on one of our lathes. Matte blasting can be done to
virtually any size roll that fits our lathe capacity — and on a broad range of base materials ranging from
chrome-plated to thermal-sprayed surfaces.
